As part of the wider George.com team, the Website Merchandising assistants are always looking for ways to encourage our shoppers to browse, explore and buy our products on George.com. They are responsible for understanding our shoppers and providing an easy, fast and friendly online customer experience on site.
As part of the Web Merchandising team, are required to publish new products via a CMS system and consult with the online trading and creative teams to ensure all the relevant product information has been captured. You will manage the product catalogue for your department and check products that have stock are available to buy online. You will play a part in optimising our on-site search, SEO, filters, categorisation, taxonomy and build promotions. You will conduct regular site audits and proactively seek out improvements to enhance the customer shopping experience on George.com whilst working closely with the Web Merchandiser and wider team to deliver the overall George strategy.

About You:
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential and full training will be provided.
- Have a passion for learning
- Strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to problem solve
- Ability to prioritise, follow multiple critical paths and work to deadlines
- Be a collaborator, sharing and encouraging best practice
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Be an innovative, forward-thinker who is confident with communicating their ideas
