Description


· Daily duties – posting supplier invoices in SAP, managing the AP inbox and supplier queries.
  • Weekly duties – posting of employee expenses manual or via Concur and store petty cash with weekly payment runs
  • Month-end duties – Timely cut-off on posting of supplier invoices, expenses, petty cash, bank posting, and reconciliation.
  • Other duties – key supplier account reconciliations, liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queries, general AP administration.
This role is a 14 months fixed term contract.


What Will You Do?


1. Process accounting data (Invoices & Credit Notes – against PO/GR) in SAP and meet month-end deadlines
2. Scan & Verify Invoices via ReadSoft
3. Process weekly BACS Payments & Single (Multi-currency) weekly
4. Supplier statement reconciliations & investigation discrepancies
5. Maintain a schedule of direct debits and monitor all other monthly payments
6. Cash Flow payment allocation
7. Process employee expenses on a weekly basis, manually & via Concur
8. Process stores monthly petty cash claims
9. Process customer refund payments
10. Support internal departments with any PO/GR invoicing issues
11. Monitoring Personal & AP inbox
12. Opening & distributing Finance Post, and any ad hoc tasks requested by the finance team

1. Can prioritize tasks to achieve objectives
2. Knowledge of invoice processing against PO & GR workflows
3. Establishes and maintains documents that monitor and control the budget
4. Interacts well with all stakeholders and peers
5. Is articulate and confident communicating one-to-one
6. Recognizes own performance and seeks to improve
7. Makes decisions when confident of procedure or policy
8. Supports the implementation of changes by supporting the team & Manager, including team absences
9. Help create and promote a positive and supportive environment within the team
10. Willingness and ability to pick up ad-hoc tasks as directed by team management
11. Understands departmental objective and link to personal targets
12. Understands who customers are, (internal & external) and seeks to deliver excellent service and support
13. Understands the company procedures, true stories, and structure
